Essential Duties

• Train and supervise student interns and volunteers.
• Assist with intern recruitment, interviewing, and volunteers.
• Coordinate Live scan procedures and appointments with Cal State Fullerton Police Department for academic interns and volunteers.
• Develop tutoring schedule for interns and assist the Director with intern evaluations.
• Perform client formative and summative assessments.
• Assist with general Correspondence, such as answering the phone, attending Center activities, and welcoming walk-in clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience working with children and underserved minorities.
• Bilingual : English and Spanish.
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Advanced computer skills.

EDUCATION :

Minimum Bachelors degree in Child and Adolescent degree, Public Health, or related field.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Prolonged sitting in front of computer. Walking, talking, hearing, pulling, bending, may carry 10-15 pounds of objects / material, not exposed to extreme noise level, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, taste or smell.
