Job Description
Position Description: The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological assessment services for the Department of Veterans Affairs Los Angeles VA Healthcare system. Specifically, the position will require the administration of psychological evaluations of DVA Police Officers. The Clinical Psychologist will conduct pre-employment evaluations of officer candidates as well as annual fitness-for-duty evaluations of incumbent Officers. Evaluations will be conducted at the Psychologist's office, at the DVA Police Headquarters, or virtually Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays) during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Position Requirements:
-PhD in Psychology
-Current license to practice in California
-Experience performing police psychological evaluations
-Capability to administer Personality Assessment Inventories and California Personality Inventories
