CSL USA is Hiring a Production operator Near Caledonia, WI

Department : Production Positions Supervised : None FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Reports to : Production Supervisor GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB The Production Operator performs and reports on operational related activities and utilized technical skills to perform routine work using standard operating procedures related to food grade bacteria culture production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The following statements reflect the general details necessary to describe the major functions of this position and are not intended to be a detailed description of all the work / functions that may be required.

Other duties may be assigned. Follows operating discipline policies, principles, procedures, standards, and practices to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned areas Responsible for running equipment such as raw material blending, UHT, fermentation, centrifuge, pelletization and freeze drying / blending.

Monitor and using HMI for basic processes. Operates and field check process equipment Monitors process conditions, key performance metrics, equipment control systems Initiates and documents preliminary investigations according to plant-specific processes and criteria Proactively identifies improvements and opportunities utilizing improvement processes, appropriate management of change processes, and communication tools Perform sanitation duties per established frequency and procedures Comply with plant safety rules and maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition QUALIFICATIONS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), preferred LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to stand greater than 2 / 3 of the time.

Ability to walk less than 1 / 2 of the time. Ability to sit 1 / 3 of the time. Ability to use hands greater than 2 / 3 of the time.

Ability to reach with hands and arms less than 1 / 3 of the time. Ability to climb or balance less than 1 / 3 of the time.

Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds less than 1 / 3 of the time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds less than 1 / 3 of the time.

Ability to use close vision (20 inches or less) greater than 2 / 3 of the time for computer work and other tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
