CSI Recruiting is Hiring a Sr Environmental Specialist - Air Permitting Near Oklahoma, OK

The Senior Environmental Specialist - Air Permitting provides air compliance and environmental support to E&P operations. They oversee the air permitting and compliance program. This position requires the capacity to manage various priorities and multiple tasks allowing broad exposure to federal, state, and local air, water and waste regulations.

Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitate air permitting and compliance duties between field EHS reps, consultants and operations
Communicate with local, state, and federal agencies regarding air and environmental questions and inquiries
Track permitting actions and ensure agency deadlines are met
Review and process air permit applications
Evaluate regulatory requirements
NSPS OOOOa compliance duties
LDAR compliance and tracking
Engine testing and compliance duties
Manage PER and emission inventory program
Oversee greenhouse gas reporting program
Preparation and submission of required annual reporting
Operational field data management
Periodic field EHS audits, inspections, engine testing, LDAR inspections, etc
Conduct training for field staff
Assists with other programs as needed, including but not limited to water, waste and SPCC’s
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and all Microsoft Office applications
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work in a high-stress environment with strict deadlines
Strong organizational skills to systematically track, report, and file EH&S data
Attention to detail to ensure all tasks and deadlines are met
Excellent written and verbal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects
