Job Summary:
We are commercial general contracting firm performing hotel renovations across the country and we're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Superintendent.

The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

Duties:
- Assist the Superintendent in coordinating and supervising construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement project plans & schedules
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and specifications
- Conduct daily inspections of work quality, safety compliance, and progress
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, reports, and photos
- Utilize construction management software (such as ProCore) to track project activities and communicate updates to stakeholders

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or related field is required. Hotel renovation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in ProCore, OpenSpace, and other construction management software
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Bilingual language (spanish) a plus.
