Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified, compassionate, and experienced individual to join our growing team. The right candidate will be reliable, prompt and have a strong background in home healthcare. The day-to-day duties of this role include planning and preparing meals, assisting bed bound clients with all ADL's (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Light house keeping, laundry and some meal prep.

One assignment, 2 clients: 33 weekly hours!

Locations & Client information

Lagrange, Ga 11/hrs: client needs help with dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, and meal prep (occasionally)

TuesFri 3-830p

Moreland, Ga 22/hrs : client needs the following help with light housekeeping, assistance with bathing, dressing, and changing the linen on the bed. The client also wears depends (occasionally). The client is not able to hear and previously had a stroke and a heart attack. The client also wears depends (occasionally)

Mon10-330 & Tues-Fri 10-2p

Weekly hours available for each location vary according to each client (Can have more than 1 assignment for additional hours).

Requirements to start:

1 year experience
PCA/HHA training or CNA certification
BLS/First Aid
TB test results

Standard shift: Day shift (Mornings): Mon–Fri – 16 hrs./week

Experience:

Caregiving: 1 year (required)
License/Certification: Valid DL, First Aid/CPR/PCA Certification (Preferred)
Work Location: On the road

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
Assist clients with ambulation and help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
Plan and prepare small meals
Assist client to complete shopping or accompany them successfully do so
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
Take pride in providing high quality care
Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
