Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facility. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of facility systems

- Respond to work orders in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment inventory

- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed

- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Maintain excellent curb appeal by daily maintenance and upkeep of the property grounds

- Perform daily inspection of property grounds to identify areas for improvement

- Assist with light maintenance duties and work orders

- Ensure all property equipment is in working condition

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role.

- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulics, and other building systems.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Strong communication and customer service skills.
