Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, coding, and collections. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic medical office environment. Must have medical billing experience.

Duties:
-Review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate billing

-Assign appropriate codes using IC-10, ICD-9, and other coding systems

-Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical procedures

-Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement

-Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies

-maintain patient confidentiality and adhere HIPPA regulations

-Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure accurate and timely billing

Skills:
- Proficiency in ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG, and medical terminology
- Strong knowledge of medical billing systems and processes
- Experience with medical collections and medical records management
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment
