Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to manage incoming and outgoing inventory
- Utilize data collection tools and software such as Tableau to analyze inventory data
- Implement inventory management best practices to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Monitor and track inventory movements, including stock adjustments and transfers
- Collaborate with suppliers and third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely deliveries
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records
- Assist in financial modeling related to inventory forecasting and budgeting
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or related field
- Proficiency in using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for inventory management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and logistics operations
- Familiarity with inventory control principles and best practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
