About us

Crystal Grottoes Caverns is an underground commercial cavern located in Boonsboro, Maryland.

We are open seasonally as follows:

Mid March - Mid April , open weekends only

Mid April - Mid November, open every day

Mid November - Christmas, open weekends only

Christmas - Mid March, Winter closure period

We are looking for candidates with landscaping, yard care, and handyman/handywoman experience, to do yard care, upkeep out light bulbs in cavern, and building and painting of things such as wooden picnic tables and rims for gardens, etc.

Job Duties

• Work with supervision of a trainer and manager. At times, work independently to make progress on goals set by trainer and manager.
• Mowing, weed eating, pulling weeds, picking up sticks
• Help keep the cave building clean and tidy by picking up trash during downtime.
• Use leaf blower to blow leaves away from patio, etc.
• Notify the Manager and Owner of any problem, and work with management to find solutions.
• Switch out and add fresh trash bags to outside trash cans.
• Oversee & report to management the state of areas of the property
• Possible yard work if needed, such as weed wacking, pulling weeds in front, picking up sticks, using equipment to blow leaves away from patio, etc.
• Change out light bulbs and equipment as necessary in cavern.
• Build wooden items such as picnic tables, or garden beds
• Paint signs, picnic tables, pavilion, etc
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
