We are looking to add a bright and energetic kennel technician to our growing practice. This individual should be well-versed in caring for both cats and dogs, but having training with exotics such as reptiles, pocket pets and rabbits would also be a plus. Responsibilities include the daily care of hospitalized and boarded pets, including feeding, exercising, medicating and bathing, assisting the veterinarians and technicians as well as some maintenance of the facility and equipment. Experience working with cats and dogs is preferred but will provide training for the right applicant. Part of the duty as a kennel technician also requires you to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic, you will be responsible for the laundry from our boarders (blankets, towels, and occasionally sheets), vacuuming and mopping the clinic, and taking out the trash of the practice. You may also be asked to assist our vet assistants and vet techs with restraining pets for diagnostics and treatments.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and be able to stand and be outside.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
