Facilities Maintenance Lead Job Description:

To be a “Go Between” for State Parks Maintenance, Crystal Cove Management Company Maintenance, and Housekeeping staff. To monitor status of all the public facilities in the Historic District and report any negative findings to CCMC Management or State Parks. To instruct and manage the ADSI Facility employees on proper procedures and appearance. To follow up with the same ADSI personnel and monitor their performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Upon AM arrival clean and restock all Historic District Public Restrooms. Make sure that “Floor Drain” screens are clean and flowing freely.
• Check in with Cottage Front Desk regarding check outs and prepare Maintenance Cart.
• Work with the Guest Service Associate staff to remove all trash from the emptied cottages. Make sure all trash cans have a couple of reserve trash bags, and a fresh bag ready for use. Inform House Keeping staff when cottages are ready for cleaning. Communicate possible problems in the cottages and report them to CCBC Maintenance team.
• Monitor housekeeping progress through the day and keep the front desk aware of cottage readiness.
• Keep Meeting Cottage and bathrooms clean and well stocked. Help with meeting set up and break down when necessary.
• Help housekeeping staff with laundry during the day and keep Manager informed on the laundry chemical supply. Keep the chemicals hooked up and flowing.

Status:

· Full time, time and a half for any overtime.

Compensation:

· $18.00 per hour.

Report to: Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Location: Crystal Cove State Park Historic District

Physical Requirements: Due to the location of Crystal Cove Cottages, this is a position that requires certain physical abilities. These requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Must be able to move program equipment from storage areas to a variety of locations.
• Required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to work in a variety of outdoor environments
