Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office setting and possess strong administrative and organizational skills. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, managing appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software systems (e.g. Eaglesoft
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Verify insurance coverage
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists when needed
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus
- Proven experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
