Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a Panel Door Fabricator III to join our team in Princeton, MN!

Schedule and Pay:

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:15 PM ; Friday OT hours if needed

Salary Grade D

Job Summary:

The Panel Door Fabricator III is responsible for performing the job duties of the Door Builder/Clamp Operator. Also, sets up and operates a variety of woodworking machines to sand/surface, cut, shape, etc. Additionally, component parts for the fabrication of cabinet doors to meet production needs in accordance with job orders, special requests and detailed paperwork.

Job Duties:

  • Pulls panels as needed by wood specie, graining and special wood characteristics as identified on the job order.
  • Maintains the ability to interpret job orders, detailed drawings and special request product.
  • Follows cut list and cuts panels to specifications.
  • Sets up doors by cutting stiles and rails per door/per order in preparation for assembly.
  • Organizes each door with correct panel, stile, rail, etc. according to cut list, job order or detailed drawing.
  • Sets up and operates a wide variety of machines in the fabrication of doors and parts, i.e., chop saw, panel shaper, etc.
  • Organizes and controls drop off.
  • Works with manager on product issues, material, machine and safety concerns that can cause problems with meeting production needs.
  • Selects, installs and adjusts saw blades, cutterheads, boring bits, and sanding belts in respective machines as well as adjusts to specifications as needed/required.
  • Repairs product by hand or with the use of an orbital sander.
  • Moves sanded product to next step in the process per job order.
  • Inspects work ensuring it meets specifications and quality standards using, easel as needed.
  • Organizes and prioritizes green slips to arrange rework to meet daily/weekly production needs as well as expedites and follows through on rework.
  • Maintains all working areas in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
