The Cryoport Logistics Center in Irvine, CA is seeking a Logistics Center Technician. Qualified candidates must have a professional attitude, strong core values, strong ethics and integrity to join our thriving, growing company. Logistics Center Technicians are responsible for executing assigned warehouse operations and activities pertaining to asset receiving, cleaning, testing, inventory control, storage of Cryoport temperature-controlled shippers in accordance with IATA, TSA, and DHS securities. Other responsibilities include processing the required documentation controls implemented by quality assurance and inventory management. Primary responsibilities: Processing inbound and outbound shipping cargo/assets Practicing TSA and cargo security processes Maintaining packaging inventory and assets Inventorying cycle counts for shipping and warehouse services Daily Inventory inspections and counts Processing Cryoportal orders and shipment compliances Ensuring IATA and TSA package compliance Managing SOP's and work instructions for assigned warehouse activities Ensuring safety practices and warehouse controls are followed daily Practicing the safe operation of mechanical equipment, including a forklift, pallet jack, and handcart Performing other duties as assigned Working Full-time, M-F, as well as weekends, when needed (overtime) Working 7 AM -3 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM, depending upon the company's need Must haves: Highly organized and able to construct plans utilizing strong analytical skills Exceptional computer skills Adept at, proficient in math Able to read written supply and requisition forms and follow them exactly Ability to meet deadlines consistently Very good communicator Able to solve problems well; quickly, efficiently and effectively Able to operate LN2 tanks and refill them Previous experience shipping domestic and international cargo Previous knowledge of GMP and GDP Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, SS and Kanban Able to perform well, even under stressful conditions Embrace the potential for personal and professional development Passion for, and alignment with, Cryoport’s mission; “to support life and health by providing reliable and comprehensive temperature-controlled supply chain solutions for the life sciences through its advanced technologies and dedicated personnel”.
