Store Manager Requirements

• At least three years experience as a manager in the food and beverage industry
• Possess or willing to obtain a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) Certificate
• High School Diploma preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Availability to work varying shifts, including opening and closing shifts, Saturdays, and holidays
• Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles or willingness to be trained
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Time and project management skills
• Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop practical solutions and strategies
• Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members

Manager Responsibilities

• Delegate responsibilities and supervise business operations
• Maintain knowledge and skills for baker positions and fill in as necessary
• Hire, train, motivate, and coach employees
• Resolve conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
• Monitor store activity, ensure proper provisioning and staffing, set and maintain the schedule
• Analyze information and processes, develop more effective or efficient techniques and strategies
• Establish and achieve business and profit objectives
• Maintain a clean and tidy business, ensure attractive signage and displays
• Generate reports and present information to regional manager or owners
• Ensure staff members follow company policies and procedures
• Manage store ordering and inventory
• Maintain good communication with regional managers or owners
• Manage all day-to-day operations
• Maintain a positive attitude towards all stakeholders
• Take constructive criticism and be willing to continuously improve
• Be onsite and on the schedule for at least 40 hours a week
• Lead by example
• Show initiative in growing and learning in the position
