Crumbl Cookies is Hiring an Assistant General Manager Near Northville, MI

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will contribute to Crumbl Northville success by assisting the GM in leading their team to create and maintain an exceptional Guest Experience while upholding brand standards, as well as modeling and acting in accordance with Crumbl's mission and core values.

The Assistant General Manager is involved in all areas of store operations, which include:

  • Leading and developing his/her team
  • Ensuring an exceptional Guest Experience
  • Providing a high-quality product
  • Maximizing sales performance
  • Driving profitability while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere

Pay

  • $19.00/hr ($16/hr Guaranteed $3/hr in tips)

Daily Operations

  • Fosters a culture of exceptional guest experience
  • Reviews store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement, and adjusts accordingly.
  • Drives implementation of company programs through action planning and inspires the team to meet operational standards. Promotes and maintains consistent accountability and adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring all operational changes are communicated and implemented.

Building Effective Teams

  • Challenges the team to achieve results
  • Ensures each employee follows and completes required training
  • Actively manages the team by utilizing performance management tools to support organizational objectives, provide feedback, and set goals
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools and programs, as well as finding new, creative, and effective methods of recognition.
  • Utilizes and demonstrates effective management practices to create and maintain a successful store team resulting in an environment where the team feels valued and respected.

  • Maximize satisfaction through ensuring high levels of Guest service, including oversight of Guest reviews and escalated Guest issues.
  • Works to maintain store cleanliness and upkeep, including monthly inspections, systems reviews, and coordinating the update/replacement of damaged equipment or facilities.
  • Communicate and manage all marketing strategies and promotions in the store, ensuring proper execution to drive results.
  • Understands the local competition and keeps current on changes in the food service landscape.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions
  • Must be team oriented, self-motivated, and well organized.

Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit, stand and use his/her hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position. This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed. Minimums of 40 to 45 hours are required. It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. Crumbl was co-founded by Jason McGowan (CEO) & Sawyer Hemsley (COO).
After developing the perfect recipe, the duo and their family opened Crumbl’s first store in Logan, Utah in 2017 while Sawyer was attending Utah State University. From day one, it was important to them that Crumbl customers see their cookies being mixed, balled, baked and dressed in real-time. Equally as important were the high-quality ingredients used in each unique batch.
As Crumbl continued to grow, so did their flavor offerings! Crumbl’s award-winning milk chocolate chip cookie has always been on the menu with their chilled pink sugar cookie becoming a semi-permanent menu item soon after. Crumbl then introduced its concept of a rotating menu. The frequency and timing of Crumbl’s rotating menu evolved over the course of a year until its iconic four flavor weekly rotation was officially established in December 2018.
Since opening its doors five years ago, Crumbl has expanded to over 600 bakeries nationwide, making it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation. No matter how big the brand becomes, Crumbl is a family-owned business.
