We are looking for self-motivated, timely, eager to learn comprehensive individuals ready to work safely, Bi-lingual a plus, with the ability to work OT as needed. Must work efficiently, work well with others and communicate with tire customers and peers.
We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator to utilize the company's large equipment to move product from one area to another. The ideal candidate for this position is able to work on their own and follow set safety procedures, and has the ability to work quickly. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is interested in receiving additional training and advancing their skills.
Responsibilities:
· Operate a Toyota 5K lift
· Operates forklifts to move finished goods. Load and unload finished goods to and from trailers
· Staging of outbound material as required
· Shipping of finished product, completing paperwork and making sure paperwork is turned into the front office
· Maintain finished goods and packaging supplies inventory. Monthly physical inventories for finished goods.
· Responsible for keeping warehouse, dock areas, drive paths and trailer parking areas in a clean and orderly condition
· Required to inspect forklift each shift and note any problems on daily inspection sheet. Blow out forklift at the end of each shift.
· Understands the risk associated with the job at hand and supports the company safety program. Makes suggestions to improve safety. Recommends and helps correct hazards in the work place.
· Report any issues or incidents to management
· Operator will be responsible for equipment inspections of heavy equipment and coordinate service with Holt of CA.
· Operator to manage waste tire piles in accordance with local and state fire storage codes.
· Operator to load tires into tire shredder. Also, scoop and dump tire shreds into end dump hauling vehicles.
· Must be able to occasionally lift and load up to 50 pound tires into shredder hopper

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
