Warehouse Lead - Austin, Tx.

The Warehouse lead is responsible for supporting the daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
• Assists with training of team members.
• Assist the warehouse team with daily workflow and assignments.
• Lead team in conducting safety checks on equipment, including forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Inspects quality and quantity of supplies and equipment delivered to the team.
• Verifies that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards, and that order slips match and have the appropriate signatures.
• Keeps team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
• Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
• Collaborates with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implements viable ideas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Competencies

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of related work experience required; preferably in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry.
• Prolonged periods of siting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects more than 10 lbs as needed
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
