Crucial Link is hiring in Avon Lake for
Industrial Maintenance Technician
$22-25/hr, based on experience
55 hours each week - built in OT
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday 7:00am - Noon
Individuals with all Criminal Histories are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must be able to pass a drug test.
Industrial Maintenance Technician
Industrial Maintenance Technicians in the metal manufacturing industry are responsible for ensuring that the machinery and equipment used for making metal parts are functioning properly. This involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on machines, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and coordinating with other team members to ensure that production goals are met.
Some of the key responsibilities of a maintenance technician may include:
- Conducting routine maintenance on stamping machines, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of key components
- Performing repairs on machines, when necessary, either independently or with the help of other team members
- Troubleshooting issues with machines and diagnosing the root cause of problems
- Working with other team members to ensure that production goals are met and that machines are running efficiently
- Documenting maintenance activities and keeping accurate records of repairs and other work performed on machines
- Following safety protocols and ensuring that all machines are always operating safely
Requirements:
- Completion of a maintenance type program is a plus, though experience is valued as well.
- Strong work ethic and good attitude is required.
- Must use good judgment.
