Job Title: Production Assembler/Manager

Company Summary:

Established in 2005, CRRC Times Electric USA, LLC (abbr. TEUSA) opens offices in Erie, PA, Chicago, IL, and Industry, CA. We are a compatible and reliable components supplier for the industrial and transportation industry. Our newest California office has a complete product line ranging from rolling stock propulsion, APS and MDS systems for metro cars and is expanding to the solar/new energy market with a focus on utility scale industrial customers and industrial semiconductor markets in North and South America.

Parent company CRRC Times Electric Co., Ltd., (abbr. TEC) is a leading propulsion system provider for locomotives, mass transit vehicles and EMUs as well as a world well-known provider for various electronic components for industrial companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You will play a key role in electric assemblies. In this position, you will wire, assemble, and install electrical components according to blueprint specifications. This role involves following repetitive production standards, so we will consider any applicant with manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Any soldering and wiring experience you may have is beneficial. You will be involved in managing production processes, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Electrical Assembly (80%)

· Assemble materials.

· Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports

· Clean parts thoroughly.

· Review work activities independently or with the assembly team.

· Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.

· Assemble electrical systems or support structures and install components, units, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, welding equipment.

· Pack finished products for shipment.

· Tag components.

· Adjust or repair electrical equipment.

· Correct defects.

· Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.

· Build products such as inverters, etc.

· Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment.

· Test functional performance.

· Complete device history records and daily production logs.

· Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

· Complete other tasks as necessary.

Production Management (20%)

· Develop production plans and schedules based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and available resources.

· Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and make adjustments to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.

· Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, motivation, and employee development.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED certificate

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry

Soldering experience

Wiring experience a plus

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions

Manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Production Manager/Team Leader or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.

Solid understanding of electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly, testing, and final assembly.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse production workforce.

Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to understand, speak, read and write Mandarin is a plus.
