Position Summary: Supports efforts to implement and sustain operational cost improvement initiatives, in particular, in the area of Labor Productivity Management and Reporting. Goal is to identify appropriate use of labor resources and educate and collaborate with leaders within the organization to improve resource utilization and reduce enterprise variation and unnecessary labor costs # all in support of the Health System#s strategic direction. # Plays a key role in the analysis and improvement of critical work processes and associated staffing resource requirements and productivity targets. Cost containment, operational efficiency and process improvement is the foundation of this position. # Education and Training:## # Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Health Systems, Business, or related healthcare field is required.# Masters is preferred. # Experience and Knowledge: # An educational/experiential background that has developed skills in data collection and analysis, systems analysis, study design, project management, resource allocation and utilization, work flow and management, financial analysis is required. # Must have a minimum of two to five years in health care operations and/or consulting.## Nursing or other clinical management experience is a plus. # Registration, Licensure and/or Certification: # # Skills:# Must possess excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills and must demonstrate an ability to work with department heads and hospital leadership to make effective changes to staffing. Must also possess the ability to work with minimum supervision.# Must possess advanced PC skills, including Microsoft Office. #
