Responsibilities
Inspect used trucks coming back from the field to generate parts lists and work orders required to repair the truck.
Receive parts orders from Crown Distribution Center and put into stock. Receive back ordered parts and commit to the correct Truck.
Communicate with Crown DC on missing parts, errors, etc.
Remove and replace defective and standard components on Crown lift trucks in an assembly line / mfg. environment.
Prep trucks for painting,which includes steam cleaning and repairing damage to metal surfaces. Use body filler as needed to repair surface for new paint.
Use manual and power sanding tools. Tape trucks to prepare for painting.
Perform spray painting, detailing, and installing decals on trucks.
Inspect trucks against Crown quality sstandards prior to shipment to final customer.
Troubleshoot and repair trucks that are having issues prior to disassembly, or after reassembly operations are complete
Comply with all applicable Occupational, Environmental, Health and Safety Standards as well as Crown's safety rules and regulations for each task performed.
Job Qualifications :
Currently enrolled in the Agricultural Equipment Technology, Automotive / Diesel Technology, or related programs.
Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach above shoulder level, and occaionally lift / carry up to 50lbs.
Knowledge of basic computer functions.
Read and know wiring diagrams
Able to use test meters
Mechanical background preferred.
Must be able to use common hand tools
