Forklift Operator/ Labeling in Milwaukee, WI

Position Overview:

Labelers are responsible for all tasks involving the proper identification and labeling of

chemicals and formulas in the plant. They will accomplish their tasks in a safe, accurate, and

efficient manner.

Job Functions:

- Properly label containers for shipment to customers

-Ensure cleanliness of totes and drums

- Drive a forklift to transport materials for use

- Follow standard operating procedures

- Flexibility to work multiple types of tasks based on need and as instructed by a manager

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment

-Perform necessary inspections

Nice to have:

- High school diploma / GED

-Experience working with chemicals

- Experience working with forklifts

-Skills and Abilities:

-Ability to read and understand paperwork

-Basic math skills

- Ability to work efficiently

- Good communication skills

- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

- Safety Expectations:

-Adhere to all safety rules and regulations

-Wear all personal protective equipment regardless of weather

-Maintain good housekeeping

- Follow all forklift safety rules
