Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp teacher. As a Camp teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in childcare and education.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activity
- Provide guidance and support to campers in behavior management
- Assist with classroom management and academic tutoring
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive camp experience
Skills:
- Experience in childcare, sports coaching, or related fields
- Strong behavior management skills
- Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
