RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform all necessary pre-production safety checksFollow all plant safety rules, SOPs, LOTO, and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all timesOperate, set up, adjust, repair, and overhaul all assembly line equipment and related equipment as required to maintain standard quality and quantity of productionMaintain all functions of the can assembly linePerform all necessary quality checks to ensure the product meets documented quality requirementsAccept primary responsibility for the performance of the assigned equipmentPerform preventative maintenance as requiredPerform and document completed daily housekeeping; The Work area is to be clean, orderly, and free of hazards at all timesThe above information reflects the general job duties and should not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements; Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED preferredMechanical background and/or experience requiredAll applicants will be tested for mechanical aptitudeTools are required. The Company will furnish a basic tool list that is the minimum requirement for this position.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team membersStrong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and qualityFamiliarization with computers; data entry/Microsoft programsAbility to lift to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance. This position also requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift, frequent overtime may also be required
