Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. Your primary goal will be to assist customers with their vehicle maintenance and repair needs by aligning their priorities with the best care for the vehicle..

Duties:

- Greet customers and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere

- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues

- Comunicate the customers concerns and desires clearly and thoroughly with the technician as well as communicating clearly and thoroughly with the customer the technician's assessment and diagnosis on the vehicle.

- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs

- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and repairs

- Process payments and handle cash transactions in accordance with company policies

- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of automotive service and repair processes

- Mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians and customers

- Excellent upselling skills to maximize sales opportunities

- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor

- Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner

- Proficient in computer systems for data entry and record keeping

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

- Cash handling experience with accuracy and attention to detail

- Sales experience in the automotive industry is a plus
