Essential Functions:

To be considered for this role, you should have experience in auditing (internal or third-party), knowledge of court cost spend practices, strong familiarity in working with network partners, ability to work independently and progress with ongoing training and knowledge. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office products, excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Job description includes (but is not limited to):

• Develop and implement a court cost monitoring program to audit Servicers utilization of Crown resources.
• Partner with internal sources to establish feedback loop with Servicers.
• Conduct internal audits of various business policies, procedures, and work instructions to assess company adherence to the directives therein and to test the effectiveness of controls.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for management and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with business units to identify and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant professional experience.
• Two years previous experience in audit at a collection agency, collection law firm or financial institution.
• Experience and competency in audit principles, practices, and methodologies, including objectivity and independence, risk and control assessment, and risk-based auditing project management.
• Proven experience and competency collaborating across the organization to accomplish organizational goals, objectives and core values.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound recommendations based upon audit findings.
• Strong EXCEL i.e. pivot tables, formulas, etc. and comparing data points to aid in making recommendations.
