Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Bar Manager/Head Bartender to lead our bar team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixology, excellent leadership skills, a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, and a great bar following. This role involves managing the bar's daily operations, creating innovative drink menus, and ensuring a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Supervise: Oversee the bar staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Handle any customer concerns or complaints with tact and professionalism.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and conduct regular stock checks. Ensure the bar is well-stocked and organized.
• Menu Development: Create and update drink menus, including craft cocktails, seasonal specials, and classic favorites. Stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into the menu.
• Cost Control: Manage the bar's budget, control costs, and maximize profitability. Track sales, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Events and Promotions: Plan and execute bar events, promotions, and special occasions to attract and engage customers. Collaborate with marketing to promote these activities.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of drink preparation and presentation. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency and excellence.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers. Network within the industry to stay informed and connected.
• Bar Following: Utilize your established bar following to attract new customers and build a loyal clientele for our establishment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or similar role in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A great bar following and the ability to attract and retain customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $824.00 - $1,074.00 per week

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
