North County Ford is looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic parts team! Dealership experience is a definite plus! Ideal candidate will be punctual, customer service oriented, and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Receives shipments and verifies both the order and the quantities.
• Stocks all new parts shipments daily.
• Maintains accurate shipping and receiving records in computer system.
• Prepares and sends out daily FEDEX shipment.
• Delivers shipments and mail to other departments in the dealership.
• Receives Special Order Parts (SOR) daily.
• Assists with annual physical inventory.
• Adheres to all safety rules, policies, and procedures, and immediately reports any accidents to management.

What are the requirements for this job?

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to read and understand parts catalogues and parts numbers.
• Skill and ability to use personal computers and related software applications, including MS Office, Advent, Excel, and ADP.
• Skill and ability to apply and perform basic accounting functions and mathematic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to interact with customers with efficiency and courtesy.
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with coworkers, customers, and other companies.
• Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions and information.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Skill and ability to climb and balance on high places.
• Skill and ability to operate forklift and be certified by Company personnel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
