Crowe LLP is looking for an Audit Partner to join our Bay Area practice. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop the Bay Area Audit practice. The ideal candidate will thrive on the opportunity to "take ownership" of growing and managing this practice.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Function as an industry leader through an established professional reputation and network in the Bay Area, ability to quickly build a network of business contacts and referral sources

• Actively participate in the execution of the firm's Audit growth strategy, specific to the Bay Area market

• Lead all phases of the audit process, ensure quality assurance standards are being practiced while providing exceptional client service

• Develop a thorough assessment and understanding of client's business needs and objectives, integrate a deep understanding of a professional services environment to achieve desired results

• Ensure that all deliverables are prepared accurately while anticipating, identifying, and addressing client concerns and problems as they arise

• Work within budgetary and time constraints while providing high-level client satisfaction and audit quality

• Promote innovative ideas and business solutions which result in allowable extended services to existing clients

• Help build a dedicated and motivated team of professionals to accomplish the vision and strategy positioning Crowe as a leader in assurance services

• Ensure professional development for self and team through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards

• Serve as a role model, providing mentoring and training to staff members

Background and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required, master's or advanced degree desirable

• Certified Public Accountant required

• 12 years of experience providing financial statement audit services in public accounting preferred

• Strong expertise in technology, media & telecommunications, life sciences, consumer business, or manufacturing & distribution industry preferred

• 5 years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates

• SEC public company experience required

• Innovative and forward-thinking leader with a proven history inbuilding, developing, and sustaining clients and teams

• Strong organizations skills with the ability to strategically plan for growth, innovation and exceptional client service

• Ability to cross-sell firm services to existing client base while adhering to independence standards
