Crow Therapies is a therapist-owned, accredited outpatient rehabilitation facility. We specialize in (but are not limited to) pediatric therapy, serving East Texas communities and beyond. Our clinics operate under normal Monday through Friday business hours, making it an ideal place to work and raise a family. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:
Provide patient treatment, instruction and other related services following the Speech Language Pathologist’s evaluation and establishment of the patient’s plan of care and/or goals.
· Report all significant outcomes of patient treatments to the Speech Language Pathologist for intervention and/or plan of care revision
· Maintain necessary documentation including daily patient progress notes, home/exercise instructions and any other support entries allowed by State statute in coordination with supervising SLP.
· Document the name of the supervising Speech Language Pathologist per patient as required by State statute
· Report all patient care activities performed requiring program modification immediately to the Speech Language Pathologist
· Assist with and/or carry out routine cleaning, maintenance and support operations of the clinic’s physical plant, patient care equipment and supplies in accordance with regulatory standards and EHS policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a bachelor’s degree/four year Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program approved by the Council of the Academic Accreditation American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)
Licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in Texas
