Maintains department supplies in patient care areas.Obtains blood specimens from patients, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.Acquires and processes ECG's and transports patients to testing areas and rooms. Performs other duties as requested under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or Registered Professional Nurse. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, certification as intermediate or advanced Emergency Medical Technician, and one year emergency medical field experience necessary at the AEMT intermediate or higher level required. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
