We are currently searching for a dynamic individual to become the Telehealth Aide for our unit. This position assists Telehealth Behavioral Health Clinicians in providing counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. The candidate will help patients with getting online for telehealth sessions.
All positions require pre-employment drug screening and background checks.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists patients in logging on for telehealth assessments.
Responsible for setting up treatment rooms and group rooms for telehealth sessions.
Administers and analyzes patient testing instruments, and reviews results of tests to evaluate patient needs.
Provides patients with therapeutic projects, recreational therapy, or other activities.
Assures that all documentation is complete before submitting it to the Data Department by established deadlines.
Coordinates and refers to supportive services in the community to supplement treatment and counseling. Assist patients in obtaining services to become self-sufficient.
May be required to observe patients during the collection of urine samples and assure compliance with the chain of custody process. Includes proper charting and reporting.
Assign patients to scheduled sessions.

QualificationsEducation:
It requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
ExperienceMust demonstrate a willingness to learn the dynamics of substance use and its effects.
Prefer prior experience working in a substance use setting or human service agency.
OtherStrong computer skills are required, including virtual applications.
Able to communicate effectively. Must be able to follow directions.
CPR and first-aid certification (Initial training and renewals paid for by agency).
Valid driver's license and insurability.
