Prisma Health, the largest healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks an Advanced Practitioner to join the Department of Emergency Medicine. Candidates with two years of emergency medicine experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Prisma Health serves as the tertiary referral center for the entire Upstate region of South Carolina. The Department of Emergency Medicine provides care in 6 Emergency Departments. We have a dedicated team of advanced practice providers providing frontline care in an innovative and unique care delivery model that is redefining our approach in the emergency department setting.

Our Emergency Department program offers:

• 7 Emergency Departments with diverse clinical practice opportunities including:
  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Accredited Chest Pain Center
  • STEMI and Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Emergency Department Observation centers
  • Community Emergency Departments and a freestanding ED (coming soon)
• Flexible shift work (10-12 hours/shift)
• Full-time status requires an average of 142 clinical hours per month (11-12 shifts/month)
• Excellent compensation with the opportunity to work additional shifts at an hourly rate, as well as additional incentives based on clinical/operational productivity.
• Significant additional annual salary augmentation is being offered for candidates with a certificate of additional qualification (CAQ) in Emergency Medicine.
