We are seeking a Head Teacher for our Infant room and toddler room. Full time hours will primarily be 9 - 5 but may become earlier based on enrollment; Monday to Friday, year round. This position offers generous benefits and PTO after a 3 month introductory period, we are closed on major holidays.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: interacting with the children in a nurturing and positive manner; organizing the classroom and communicating with the parents; personal care for each child: diapering and feeding; using appropriate language, showing respect for each child’s unique personality; ensuring cleanliness of both the children and the classroom materials; engaging with the children in all activities; adhering to DCF regulations.

A CDA or ECE degree (or a related degree) is required for the Head Teacher. You must also get finger printed and pass a CARI check. 20 hours of professional development are required annually, which can be completed through the Center.
