Crossroads Continuum is Hiring an Applied Behavior Analysis Teacher I (ABA) Near Marlborough, MA

Position Overview

Job Title: ABA Teacher (ABAT-1)

Location: Crossroads Continuum, Marlborough, MA

Schedule: 7:30am- 3:00pm Monday-Friday

Salary: $50,000

Job Summary: Crossroads Continuum is seeking a dedicated ABA Teacher (ABAT-1) to join our team. Under the supervision of the Lead Special Education Teacher, the ABAT-1 will use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach students and help them achieve their goals and objectives outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Additionally, the ABAT-1 will serve as the Case Manager for 1 to 2 students, assisting in designing and modifying curricula, building supportive materials, and using them to teach new skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Education or Behavior Analysis
  • Experience working with children with autism and related disabilities (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the supervision and safety of assigned students
  • Comply with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines
  • Demonstrate competency in foundational ABA skills as outlined in the 90-Day Checklist
  • Drive students and staff in Crossroads School vehicles as needed (during school hours only)
  • Maintain case student’s program book per guidelines
  • Update case student’s program book with new IEPs within 5 school days
  • Update Behavior Management Guidelines as assigned by the EBSC
  • Maintain case students’ electronic files per guidelines
  • Construct Student Day packets per protocol
  • Make curriculum and materials changes within a week of Clinics, Student Day, and Supervision Meetings
  • Monitor student progress and immediately alert the Lead Special Education Teacher of needed changes
  • Update staff on case student’s progress, program changes, and follow-up from Student Day Meetings
  • Assist the Lead Special Education Teacher in curriculum development and modification
  • Communicate parent concerns immediately to the Lead Special Education Teacher and/or EBSC
