Job Title: Kids’ Club Age Group Leader (PT)
Status: Part-Time
Reports to: Kids’ Club Oakley Director
Location: Oakley
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of designated ministry teams at Oakley. Leads, develops, and equips team leaders; recruits, retains and onboards volunteers. Works with the KC Site and Site Support Team to provide engaging experiences in Kids’ Club.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Owns the functionality of all equipment, toys, and environment to execute the weekend experience
Directs and develops volunteer leaders
Manages recruitment, retention, and growth of team volunteers
Leads and Cares for 150-300 volunteers
Leads and Develops Age Specific Coaches
Communication with ministry teams
Connects and Communicates with Families
Connects with the site staff team
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma
Leadership experience
Experience & passion for kids
Experience / Skills Requirements:
Develop and lead high-capacity volunteer leaders
Experience and passion for working with kids
Able to connect with kids, parents, and volunteers
Able to understand and cast Crossroads' vision
Self-initiator and has a teachable spirit
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate flexibility, responsibility, dependability, and follow-through.
Ability to see the big picture and simultaneously attend to details.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Work both independently and within a team.
Physical Requirements:
Performs effectively under pressure and against strict time constraints.
Must be able to walk up to 5 miles, stand, climb, lift, pull, push, carry, reach, and stoop as duties require.
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
Scheduling / Travel Requirements:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and other high-impact events at Crossroads.
Service Times, which include Thursday, Evening, and Sunday Mornings.
Critical Qualities:
Willing to work weekends.
Commit to expectations detailed in the “I Promise” document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines, and pursuing personal purity.
