About us : Crossroads Care Center of Pewaukee is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility located in Pewaukee conveniently off I-94.

Crossroads Care Center of Pewaukee is currently looking to add dedicated and professional Medication Assistants (Med-Techs) to our strong and dependable nursing team.

All Medication Assistants must be CNA Certified and have passed the Medication Assistant program through the state of Wisconsin.

Shift Times :

Day Shift - 06 : 00-14 : 30

Evening Shift - 14 : 00-22 : 30 $3.00 / hr Shift Diff

Noc Shift - 22 : 00-06 : 30

Job Description :

• Follow current standards of hygiene, safety, and infection control when handling, storing, and disposing of medications.
• Take and record vital sings upon administration of medications when required
• Recognized the residents right to refuse medication.
• Notifies the appropriate RN / LPN when making the decision not to administer medication or treatment.
• Clarifies any order or treatment regimen believed to be inaccurate, ineffective, or contraindicated by consulting with the appropriate licensed nurse (RN / LPN)
• Monitors residents who self-administer medications and report deviation from the plan of care to the licensed nurse (RN / LPN)
• Secured Medication Card
• Recognizes and reports unsafe conditions for medication provision.
• Accurately documents medication provision.
• Recognizes and reports general reactions to medications
