Do you love animals? Are you looking to explore a career in veterinary medicine? Have you ever wanted to work at an animal hospital but have no experience? No worries! Here at Crosspointe we are looking to expand our kennel staff by hiring 2 - 4 MORNING part time employees who are dedicated, passionate, and comfortable working with animals. This is a great entry-level position, you do not need any previous experience working with animals in order to qualify. Staff members must be able to work weekends and holidays. Our morning shift starts at 7AM and typically ends by 12:30 PM to provide flexibility for students also looking to work or discover new career paths. Our evening shift is from 4:30PM to 7PM. On weekends, you may be scheduled to work morning and evening shifts. Even though this is an entry-level position, there is room for growth and many opportunities to learn about animal care and behavior. Some of our kennel attendants even get the opportunity to get moved up and trained as a veterinary assistant here at our hospital!

General responsibilities:

• Walk Dogs
• Clean and disinfectant kennels
• Wash dishes
• Bathe pets
• Run laundry
• Supervise individual playtimes with our cats and dogs
• Mopping, vacuuming and other routine hospital maintenance
• Accurately feed and medicate boarders according to written instructions
• Monitor health and behavioral changes in boarders
• Other duties as assigned
