Bridging Families Child and Family Therapist

Location: Crossnore, NC 
 
Schedule: This position requires a flexible work schedule to match the needs and availability of families. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as dictated by the demands of the position and participate in an on-call rotation.. 
 
Status: Full Time, Exempt 
Hiring Range:  $48,000 to $58,000 annually; $3000 SIGN ON BONUS

Education/Experience
  • Must have a valid and active license in one of the following areas: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); fully licensed preferred; Provisional or Associate License required.
  • Experience as a therapist working with children and families in foster care is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  •  Provide Individual, Group, and Family Therapy: Deliver therapeutic services tailored to the needs of children, youth, and families, using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Develop and Implement Individualized Service Plans: Collaborate with agency and community treatment teams to create and follow through on personalized service plans.
  • Conduct Comprehensive Clinical Assessments: Perform thorough assessments in various settings to inform treatment recommendations.
  • Participate in Client Staffings and Clinical Meetings: Attend and contribute to meetings such as agency treatment team meetings, admission assessments, and psychiatric consultations.
  • Offer 24-Hour Clinical On-Call Support: Provide crisis intervention and support through a rotation schedule.
  • Engage in Evidence-Based Practice and Research: Stay updated on and apply the latest therapeutic interventions relevant to the populations served.
  • Serve as a Referral Source and Linkage: Connect children and families with additional services within the agency or community.
  • Provide Training and Education: Evaluate and address the clinical training needs of program staff, offering education on mental health diagnoses and related treatments.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure timely and precise documentation related to clinical services, adhering to licensing, billing, and accreditation standards.
  • Foster Effective Communication and Relationships: Build and maintain positive, respectful interactions with clients, coworkers, and community professionals.
  • Promote a Safe and Inclusive Environment: Uphold the Sanctuary Model principles, ensuring a secure and diverse workplace.
