CROSSED KEYS BED & BREAKFAST INC is Hiring a Wedding coordinator Near Andover, NJ

Crossed Keys Estate is a family owned and operated wedding venue, seeking passionate individuals to bring the same level of care and hard work that the family brings to each event.

The Wedding Venue Coordinator will be responsible for managing weddings at the venue from pre-wedding communication and planning to day-of coordination.

This position is a highly detailed role, working with the owners, Senior Venue Coordinator and other department heads to ensure all wedding details are organized and executed perfectly from start to finish.

Responsibilities include :

  • Managing the client experience and communicating with couples regularly to assist in planning their event
  • Documenting and organizing event details into manageable forms for the team
  • Communicating wedding day details to managers during weekly meetings and distributing information to various departments such as kitchen team, banquet staff, floral and décor team, bridal attendants, etc.
  • Conducting ceremonies and any pre-wedding rehearsals
  • Working in tandem with venue maître d’ to ensure each wedding is executed according to what was discussed with the couple and all reception timelines are adhered to
  • Touching base with vendors prior to wedding days to ensure they are aware of property policies and to collect certificates of insurance
  • Keeping all wedding vendors apprised of wedding day timeline and couple’s movements throughout the afternoon / evening
  • Assisting Bride / Groom, family members and wedding party members during each wedding to ensure they experience first-class customer service
  • Setting up and packing away couple’s personal décor items on wedding days (e.g. card box, guest book, signage, family photos, etc.)

Requirements :

  • A minimum of 2 years of event planning experience
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Experience in a professional office setting
  • Knowledge of how to create and manage floor plans and timelines a plus
  • Candidate must be personable, neatly groomed, and able to work as a part of a team
