As Information Technology Coordinator at Cross Schools, you will become an integral part of our mission to create an environment where faith, learning, and technology converge to provide a safe, wholesome, and welcoming space for our students.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Coordinator to join our team. As the Information Technology Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our technology and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. Purpose: Administer the School's telecommunications and technology programs; Administer the School's video surveillance system; Plan and implement strategies to enhance staff and student use of technology resources; Provide ongoing professional development to ensure staff are up-to-date on technology being utilized in the school; Attend all administrative team meetings to ensure school administration are aware of the issues and trends of technology; Administer cyber security system to ensure the school remains safe from cyber-attacks; Promote an effective learning environment; Encourage program innovations; Keep the leadership informed about emerging issues

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills: Knowledge of office productivity tools and systems administration; Experience in server management and network infrastructure; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions; Knowledge of the curriculum process and upcoming trends; Commitment to keeping current with technological advances; Documentation of a clear criminal record.

Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including computers, scanners, modems, cable testers, etc. Must be able to exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. May be required to pull cable through ceilings, install wireless access points, and other manual labor.

Incumbents will be considered ‘at-will.’ The position is ‘essential, critical staff’ when there is an event that disrupts the normal school day. This position may be required to work during identified periods of emergency but will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
