Cross Resource Group is Hiring an Automotive Technician Near San Antonio, TX
Assist and observe lead technicians with test cell installations, repairs and modifications. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions from supervisor, project leader, and lead technicians. Job duties can include welding (Tig-Mig-Stick all used) and fabrication, plumbing, electrical tasks (under 24 volts), automotive mechanics, and use of computer for testing. Operate test cell dynos, emissions equipment, and data acquisition system for testing, training provided. Must provide their own set of mechanics tools.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years experience in automotive industry) : .
- Basic skills and knowledge of hand tools, power tools, automotive principles, equipment, processes and materials in the automotive field.
- Familiarity with plumbing, fabrication, and welding a plus. Ability to interpret and work from verbal and written instructions.
- Knowledge of safety rules and procedures and ability to follow them. Basic computer skills.
- Must be willing to learn new tasks that involve necessary job duties. Must be reliable and flexible with schedule, willing to work shift work, weekends, or overtime when project requires
Monday -Friday 7 am -3 pm with OT
