Position Summary: We are searching for a visionary and skilled Development Team Leader with an eye towards the future of technology, combining expertise in cloud-based solutions, modern web development, and emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring a talented group of developers, focusing on cloud-based solutions and integrations. You will need a strong understanding of GCP, modern web development, APIs, and enterprise platforms like Workday and Salesforce, while also possessing a keen interest in the potential of AI to transform our industry. Responsibilities:

• Leadership:
  • Lead and empower a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages exploration of AI potential.
  • Set clear team goals, motivate and mentor individual team members, and delegate tasks effectively, considering AI's role in specific projects.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development, including exposure to AI tools and training.
  • Build and maintain a strong team culture with open communication, trust, and an openness to innovative approaches.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Design and define architecture for scalable and secure cloud-based applications on GCP, considering potential AI integration points.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in GCP, modern web development languages (Python, Node.js, Go), API development best practices, and emerging AI frameworks and tools .
  • Guide the team in implementing integrations with third-party platforms like Workday and Salesforce, exploring opportunities for AI-powered enhancements.
  • Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automation for efficient deployments and releases, considering AI's role in testing and optimization.
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges, ensuring the smooth operation and performance of applications, including those incorporating AI elements.
• Strategic Thinking:
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions, exploring how AI can address challenges and create new opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall technology roadmap and long-term vision, integrating AI considerations and potential applications.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and their potential impact on the organization, with a particular focus on AI advancements and their alignment with strategic goals.
• AI Expertise:
  • Possess a strong understanding of fundamental AI concepts, machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing techniques.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in responsible AI development and ethical considerations.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI within the team's projects, assessing feasibility, potential benefits, and risks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and AI specialists to implement and refine AI-powered solutions within the development process.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • 5 years of experience as a developer with proven leadership experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
  • Strong understanding of modern web development languages and frameworks (Python, Node.js, Go, React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms like Workday and/or Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Desirable:
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
  • DevOps practices experience.
  • Certifications in GCP, Workday, and/or Salesforce development.
  • Experience with or exposure to AI development tools and frameworks.
