Cross Healthcare Management is Hiring a Maintenance Director Near Bedford, TX

Position Summary

Ensures the building(s), equipment, and facility grounds are maintained in accordance with state, federal, and company policies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·Performs minor to major repairs and supervises the day-to-day repair, improvement, and preventative maintenance of the building(s), equipment, lawn, and grounds

·Arranges for and manages outside repairs, maintenance, and construction services according to facility procedures

·Maintains required records, manages budgets and supplies

·Conducts in-service training sessions about the building, safety and disaster planning, as needed

·Supervises maintenance personnel (if any) and schedules adequate coverage, as appropriate.Assigns duties and evaluates work performance, as necessary

·Must be on call at all times unless prior arrangements have been made with the executive director

·Manages contract compliance as pertains to maintenance services

·Performs routine checks on major systems such as auxiliary generator, fire alarms, door alarms, nurse call system, and department equipment

·Conducts periodic inspections of the building

·Maintain emergency generator according to facility policy and regulations

·Performs other related duties as required or requested

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

·Highschool diploma or equivalent

·2 years of maintenance experience required

·Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and pull/push; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and 51-100 pounds with assistance.Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment –Office

This job operates in a professional office environment with minimal exposure to dust, chemicals ornoise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
