As an anesthesiologist, you’ll provide pain management, anesthesia care and critical care for your patients. Working in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice or other healthcare setting, you’ll administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during and after procedures. You’ll play an important role in offering emotional support, reducing pain, promoting healing and providing education to patients and their families.
