Cross Country Healthcare is Hiring a Medical Technologist / Medical Technologist Microbiology Near Gainesville, FL
Job Description
As a microbiology medical technologist, you'll perform clinical laboratory testing and analyze samples for bacteria, viruses, fungi and other pathogens. Working in a hospital, lab, private practice, outpatient center or other healthcare facility, you'll collect and test specimens, operate equipment and testing materials, interpret results and process patient data. You'll play a critical role in maintaining sterile conditions, preventing disease, and helping patients get the treatment they need.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in relevant setting and specialty
- ASCP, AMT, HEW, AAB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
