Job Description
As a blood bank clinical laboratory scientist, you'll perform clinical laboratory testing and scientific examinations on blood samples. Working in a blood center, hospital, lab, private practice, outpatient center or other healthcare facility, you'll collect and test blood, identify blood type, operate equipment and handle patient data. You'll play a critical role in maintaining sterile conditions, preventing disease and helping patients get the life-saving treatment they need.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in relevant setting and specialty
- ASCP, AMT, HEW, AAB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
