PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all the equipment in the preparation of the incoming orders whilst ensuring a clean and organized environment for the chef to work in. Taking instructions from the senior members of the team, you will take a hands on approach to help support them throughout a busy service.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the chef in running the operation of the kitchen throughout the night
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen
• Clean all equipment to exceptional standards
• Maintain the organisation of the kitchen
• Remove garbage on a regular basis and comply with our recycling policy
• Maintain strict health and safety, and food hygiene standards
• Assist with any incoming deliveries and assist the stock rotation of storage units where required
REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or experience within a kitchen environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent team working skills
• Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering exception standards
• A passion for food
• Resilience and drive to get things right fist time
